Why

Do I have to look around
I could stay here
I could stay here forever
Why do I have to go down
I can't take it I can't face it
Here I feel alive
I'm only five

Maybe I'd be different
I may not mind it here
I may not mind it here forever
There's so much to see you couldn't be bored
Everything changing, nothing untoward
Nothing hidden from me
All the things I want to see

Why must you try and convince me
You know that I've made up my mind
I cannot face that, I cannot face this
I don't know which way to turn
But I don't want your advice
I will tell you when I want it what I want it for

Soon I will try to go down but I could stay here forever
Soon I will try to go down give me some more time to decide
Soon I will need to go down, soon I will but not now
Don't you dare push me over, soon, soon

You know my thought and you know my fear
You know my each moment and we both share
Everything in a place with nothing but everything
Do I have to look around
And why?
Why here?
Why now?

Sarah-Marie-mind, talking to Kara-Tammie-mind above the surface of Phonos, unable to face going back to the surface even to save her body from dying and her from being stranded.
