Space Dust

I cannot live like this like space dust
I mean nothing to all around
I affect no-one offend no-one people are too nice
They just don't notice me

I cannot live like this like space dust
No-one knows me no-one sees me by tacit consent
No-one hates me or loathes me I wouldn't mind that
They just don't notice me

I cannot live like this like space dust
I cannot walk with nowhere to go
I cannot talk when no-one listens
They just don't notice me

I cannot live like this like space dust
But how else can I survive
I cannot thrive on a diet of space dust
I may live but nothing matters to me
I need purpose put purpose in my food
What should I do?

Well... yeah, okay, this one's about me, me at the time it was written. Talia too (when she ran away from her parents with no real idea of what to do with her life), but definately me.
