Sometimes you just have to close the door
Take a step of faith
Sometimes your conscience catches up with you
Sometimes singing sometimes praying
You know what you must do to go forwards
In the end you know you will give in
Eventually resist the temptations
Realise there is more needed than good intentions
To live and love

Then another door opens
The grass is truly greener
You wonder why you chose to live
Under that dark cloud of guilt
When you could have been here
Blinking in the sunlight
Washed clean.

True for several points in my life, but written specifically for when I put away Time Horizon and Duenda and all the nightmarish stuff I'd been writing to write Tina.
