Does Anybody Care

Now I can't always see the way to go
Neither can anyone else I know
We behave like frightened rabbits
Our characters not strong enough to adapt
We're begging help from those we not so long ago
Condemned and threw to the ground
For they have what it takes to survive
To pull us through this
Who has the right to do this to us
Does something sit up there and laugh
Or are we just bringing it upon ourselves
Does anybody care?
