Because trying the same thing again after a failure always works, the forest comes to Rukh once more, in exactly the same fashion as it did at Stormy Waters.

Because using the same tactics twice is incredibly dull, Ihsan Altair's soldiers mix it up a bit, and this time the windmill's just a decoy and the troops swarm in from the fields when the enemy is good and distracted. Up close and personal the work is a bit more bloody, however, and one of Eagle's Claws ends up with fewer viscera than are generally compatible with living.

The forest comes to Rukh once more!

Using the same tactics twice in a row is terribly bad form, so this time the soldiers primarily hide themselves in the considerably more sturdy food-growing fields, posing as frightened slaves or ducking behind agricultural equipment. A few pistoleers in the windmill get the hideous demonic forces to concentrate on attempting to gain access to the building, after which it is the work of a few minutes to slice the horrible things into ribbons.

One of the Eagle's Claws unfortunately gets a bit carried away, and ends up backed against the windmill with significantly fewer entrails left than is generally desirable. Maybe up close and personal wasn't the best of ideas.

And that pesky dryad leading the army of demons manages to get away again in the confusion.

As expected, the vengeful and tormented spirits gradually return to you. Heading onwards to your next target, you discuss how to defeat the tactics displayed at Stormy Waters, assigning those manifested with axes to hack at doors and supports, the importance of circling any suspicious buildings to prevent easy egress.

The land has been scarred even more deeply at Guarded Garden, a plantation stretches before you out to the horizon, and there is one of those windmills again. You rush the windmill, which has a few pistoleers trapped within, from all sides, and the axe-wielding spirits begin to hack at the door and the supports.

Then the rest of the Rukhi forces boil out of the fields of crops where they had hidden themselves. Although the close quarters allow the vengeful and tormented spirits to draw a little blood on this occasion, the highly trained Rukhi soldiers plough through your forces with alarming speed, and once again you are forced to retreat alone.

The forest comes to Rukh once more!

These are no ordinary dryads, it seems; they disappear when slaughtered, and return to wreak their havoc once more! But Ihsan Altair's soldiers are ready for them again, with a new and fresh ambush to keep them guessing. The ancient forces of nature are nothing compared to Rukhi skill and ingenuity, and the flashing blades of our warriors send every last one of them straight back to the hells they were spawned from.
